We have undertaken several classroom refurbishments on behalf of Aberystwyth University over the years. On this minor project, working as subcontractor under Colin Ewart Decorating LTD, Electrical Estimates installed new perimeter trunking, CAT6 data networking as well as power and AV outlets. The Dextra brand LED lighting is controlled via Philips wireless switching which requires no integral batteries and is powered via the activation of the switch. The occupancy and daylight harvesting sensors integral to each light fitting ensures the lighting operates as the natural light level decreases, saving energy and increasing the lifetime of the fittings.
